1932 Games of the Xth Olympiad (Los Angeles Olympics) Coca-Cola Event Spinner

Description: You are bidding on a Games of the Xth Olympiad 1932 Los Angeles Coca Cola Olympic Indicator Event Spinner. The 5-1/2" diameter spinner was a promotional calendar item from Coca Cola chronicling the schedule of events for the 1932 Olympic Games. It features a an outer blue and white circle, printed with the events and statistical information, and green smaller inner circle, held in place with a metal grommet, to be used as a dial. The upper half of green inner circle identifies the event as "Xth OLYMPIAD LOS ANGELES - 1932", containing the Olympic shield and motto "Citius Altius Fortius" (Latin for "Faster Higher Stronger"). The advertisement below occupies the bottom half, "DRINK Coca-Cola You Can't Beat The Pause That Refreshes". The item has "COPYRIGHT - 1932 TIMES MIRROR PRINTING & BINDING HOUSE" in small print at the bottom. The calendar of events dial provides the user with statistical information about the Olympic All-Time Record, the 1928 Olympic Champion, Country, and World's Record. The reverse side of the item is printed with final results from the 1928 Olympic events in Gymnastics, Equestrian, Weightlifting, Wrestling (Catch-as-catch-can), Wrestling (Greco-Roman), Fencing, Boxing, Rowing, and Cycling. The printed images are bold, clear, and easy to read. There is no fading. There is a small dent at the top on the front of the item of the item next to the word "DATE", and has some minor creasing at the 2:00 position consistent with use. There is also a small dent at the 7:00 position on the reverse side. Item will be shipped in a rigid photo mailer envelope. Free shipping to United States.
