Description: A Very solid 1985 Chevy K-10 4 x 4. A few dings here and there but nothing serious. The tail gate is very solid but has some dings along the top. The truck was recently brought in from Idaho, where it lived all its life, so no exposure to salt. This truck features the heavy-duty transmission with Overdrive. Other options include Tilt, A/C, Clock, as well as Power windows and locks. The interior is very clean and in good shape. The headliner is drooping a little on the passenger side. The bench seat is in generally good condition up top but may need some attention on the bottom. The carpet is in good condition, and you can tell it was always kept clean. The dash pad is original and in excellent condition with no cracks or blemishes. The instrument panel is in great condition and is fully functional, even the clock. The original factory AM/FM radio is still present and works well. At 70,272 miles the previous owner replaced the engine with a re-manufactured long block. The following items were replaced with it: Spark plugs and wires, drive belts, alternator, heater and radiator hoses, fuel pump, thermostat, radiator, crankshaft pulley and new harmonic balancer. The windshield and rear glass were replaced in July 2024 with high-quality tinted glass and new rubber. The new windshield has the built-in antennae, so no external antennae is needed, as with the original glass. In September 2024, the front and rear brakes were completely rebuilt (all hardware, pad, shoes, cylinders, rotors, etc. including new jumper lines). In addition, brand new front hubs were installed, and all bearings cleaned and regreased. A $2,200 job, first class. All in all, a great 4 x 4 Square Body.
