Description: Two (2) antique cast iron hanging barn door rollers marked with the brand SURE GRIP. Lots of patent info cast into the body SEP 25, NOV 20, & NOV 27, 1900 and also May 25, 1901. Can't locate any other company info... other than CANADA. Each pulley-assembly weighs 1 lb 12 oz. The rollers spin freely but are wobbly...for a low speed roller like a sliding door, they may not have ever had a bearing or bushing; so we are looking at the result of 120 years of a cast iron wheel spinning against a steel axle. They have quite a number of layers of red paint built up over the years. One roller has a crack in one of the frame spokes on the back side (could be brazed to stabilize but would disturb the paint) - please check out the photos. Your pair of vintage SURE GRIP hanger pulleys will ship to you by USPS Ground Advantage mail. This listing is only open to US buyers. Thank you for checking them out!
