A woman on the lower lefthand side is just underneath a sign that warns people about drinking the water, “Avis aux buveurs d’eau”. The back of the painting bears a sticker from Monnier, a framer who was located Boulevard du Montparnasse in Paris from the 1920’s through the 1940’s. Glued on board and framed, this piece is in very good condition with the exception of a few chips on the frame. Please refer to the detailed photos on this page.
