Most of our cones are "mill put ups" which means that they are not precision wound to a specific weight. Cones within a style will vary by ounces and sometimes new dyelots can have significantly smaller or larger weighted cones. For example, Chenille cones can range from 1.0 lbs to close to 2.0 lbs, with the softer , lighter colors at the lower end and the darker jewel tones at the upper end. Our Perle Cottons & .75 Softball are precision wound to 1.10 lbs each. Yarn is sold by the cone, not by weight. COLOR For dyelot uniformity, please order sufficient yarn to complete projects.
