Description: The Patch: This Auction is for 1 WWII Vintage Fourth Army patch with a white back. This patch has been used and is in great condition. It has a very nice white backing. This patch does not glow under the UV light and is guaranteed to be authentic. The History: The Fourth Army was assigned the mission of organizing the Western Defense Command when WWII broke out. They quickly worked with the Western Defense Command and organized the first defense of Hawaii after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. They were then Moved to Fort Sam Houston, TX where they trained over 280,000 troops and operated the Louisiana Maneuver area. The Fourth was shipped overseas after the war to replace the Third Army in Europe. They were credited with training approximately half of the combat units sent overseas.Please read my auction requirements. I have changed them based upon feedback and ratings received.
