Description: Ground shipping with UPS/FedEx is free for the contiguous United States. Lamp to top of socket: 21.5" Lamp to top of finial: 31"Weight (not including cord): 8 lbs 9 oz. This lamp is made from a large piece of hand painted porcelain, but the origin is a bit of a mystery. The style and images look Chinese, but there is a circa 1960’s Made in Japan label on the bottom of the porcelain. My research turned up some bowls with similar painted peach designs, and those were marked Japanese Ware, but also said they were painted in Hong Kong. So, my best guess is that the porcelain vase was made in Japan, and then it was painted in Hong Kong, and then likely sent to the U.S. to be made into a lamp. The porcelain is in excellent condition. By itself it is 14.5” tall and just under 10” wide and 8” deep. It has been tested to make sure it works, and is set for a three-way bulb. The only real signs of age is the tarnished back of the neck pieces, a tarnished spot on the brass cover, and wear on the covers of the wood base. _gsrx_vers_827 (GS 7.0.13 (827))
