Chess is 38x38 in size (HEAVY MATERIAL). HIGHLY detailed pewter mini fig pieces. Every detail is richly realistic and true to the film. The 32 playing pieces are sculpture in fine pewter of the actual cast members and each likeness is so realistic-they were personally approved by the individual actor.. Each figure is about 5 to 8 cm in size. The chessboard is made of porcelain, metal and plexiglass materials. I photographed any imperfections I noticed. They are as follows: 1. one of the board window ledges that holds the pieces has a chipped off/broken off piece 2. one of the board windows is missing the gold grids. 3. minor scuffing on corners 4. The glass of the board has some light scratches and scuffs which the camera had difficulty capturing but you can see with your eye (but their nothing major) 5. The pieces have some bent but not broken off swords/staffs All of this should be visible in the photos of the listing.
