McDougal Littell Middle School World History

Description: Holt McDougal World History This one is a bit more difficult to grade so I'm going to go into a deeper description below. I took a lot ofpictures and one video to give the potential buyer an idea of the condition. The cover is in VG+ (very good plus) condition, front & back. There are no scuff marks or imperfections in the cover-it will look very close to New. Binding is tight. Corners are sharp. There is a 'This Book is the Property of' stamp on the inside cover. It is not filled out. The pages look beautiful. When I first picked it up I thought it was a New book. It really didn't look like it had been opened-or at least opened very much!! I then noticed the occasional yellow highlighting in the text. The texting is very disciplined though. By that, I mean it's not very much and it only covers the intended text-usually only one or two sentences. Not every page is highlighted in--not even close. If I had to guess, maybe an average of 1 out of every 5??? This is unusual from what you usually see with text books with grade school. Most of the time the children will just abuse the books because they can. There are no ripped or bent pages in the book. Looking at it from the outside on all 6 edges (front and back, and the 4 sides), it looks almost NEW). Whoever used this book was not an abusive child, or the school had very strict rules about using it! I see the typical mega thrift and super sized used bookstores have listed this as well. It's a popular book so that can be expected. I ran through most of the listings and a common theme seems to be to list one or two stock generic photos and an even vaguer item description! I get it though. They have so many listings it's impossible to give detailed descriptions of every book. The book you see here is the one you will receive. I only have this one. It's your money and you should see EXACTLY what you are buying-not a stock photo. If sparse highlighting bothers you, please don't purchase it!! If you want a book that is in VG+ condition with the caveat that there is highlighting in it, please examine the pictures and see if it's for you!! It will be shipped in a sturdy box after wrapping it in bubble wrap (to keep it from moving in the box). It won't be shipped in a poly mailer like most would send it!! Thank you for considering....
