Collectors are calling this, and others in its series, an Op-Art UFO vase. (It does look like a set piece from 2001.) Angular gourd shape with horizontal steps and striations resembling layers of sedimentary rock. 1970 is impressed on the underside along with the blue Heinrich stamp. We are assuming that to be the date of production. See all the pictures for the form, surface decoration, color, marks and condition which is very good as noted. No chips, cracks or repairs.
