It has undergone a thorough set of tests to ensure that all parts of the system work as they should:The system powers on whether the DC power jack or batteries are used (power adaptor and batteries not included).The LCD is in good condition--no dead pixels or discoloration, and with good contrast.The built-in speaker and the headphone jack both work and output the correct volume.The buttons are all responsive to light presses.The link cable (not included) and the infrared port both work as intended for both sending and receiving data.
