(1) 'NOS' Box of (8) Autolite A9 Spark Plugs These are Vintage Autolite Spark Plugs in their original boxesidk1989sweetventidk1989sweetventidkThey are all New, made in the USA and have never been used. They have been out of production for many years and are harder and harder to locate. These spark plugs have been in storage, & sealed in their master carton for the last 40+ years, (see photo of master carton). Most boxes have no shelf wear....only natural aging....as it is a paper productweetventidk1989sweetventidk1989sweetventidk198 ‘NOS’ sweetventidk1989sweetventidk1989sweetventidk198it don't get better than this!!! The master cases are date coded in the early 1970’s. These were produced by Autolite as their name is printed into the Porcelain. Autolite made these with a Copper Washer & Screw on Terminal (see the photos). The screw on terminal gives you the option of clamping your ignition wire / cable or slipping / pressing it over the Terminal. Apparently these A9 Spark Plugs were predominantly for older vehicles being that copper gaskets had been discontinued for years prior to these A9's being produced. The same holds true for the removable terminals. In other words Autolite, in my opinion, made these to accommodate the vintage / antique market in which spark plugs, as these, had previously been discontinued. My Vintage NOS Spark Plugs may be between 40-50 years of age. The boxes, which house the plugs, may show typical or various signs of shelf-wear as it is a paper product. Though these are NOS, some of these Spark Plugs may have minute spots of rust. However, it is minimal, will rub off with a rag and will not affect their performance.
