Description: For your consideration is this old handcrafted alibaster bust of who I believe is Andrew Jackson. There is not any identifying marks on the bust. The piece is on the small side measuring 3.2 inches long x 1.5 inches wide x 3.5 inches tall. The base is curved requiring support to stand upright, it may have originally topped something. There is no finish on the alibaster and therefore quite porous and you can see the calcite crystals.
