Description: Up for sale is a very nice Orvis Impregnated "Battenkill" bamboo fly rod. This rod is 8' long and it will cast 5-6wt fly lines just fine. Overall, this rod is in great shape and it is ready to fish with or collect. Please note, the ferrules will need to be cleaned, the hook keeper has been replaced, and the cork handle has a small thumb impression. The bamboo itself looks great. The ferrules measure 16/64 & 10/64. Serial number "7126". Made in 1949. Comes with the tube and sock. Please see all of the photos and thank you for looking.
