Description: Offering an vintage H. Disston and Sons D-12 hand saw with a 1 inch "Disston USA" medallion that was used between 1947-1953. It is being sold in as-found condition. It has the D-12 etching still plainly visible. The blade also has a No. 6 etched on the lower right corner. Features:Length: 29 inches total, 26 x 6 inch BladeTPI: 8Rivets: 5Handle: D-12 (also call No.12) "let-in" chip carved wheat handle The saw is in great shape, and the blade is straight without any teeth missing and the etching is still intact. Looks to be in very good condition, but there are plenty of pictures for you to decide yourself. It would be a great saw to restore. According to the Disstonian Institute website, this 1" medallion was used from 1947-1953. These are my findings, but please do your own research to confirm. The Disstonian Institue is a great resource for that. And if I have anything wrong, please let me know, as I try to do my best to correctly represent what I am selling. Fast shipping...thanks for looking!
