Description: This is an amazing, incredibly rare tailoring tool supplement from 1881. It is labeled as "Curvatures Taken from the Dress Makers' Magic Scale" and was invented and marketed by Will C. Rood. This is a very hard-to-find supplemental tool that could originally be purchased to go with the original large brown triangle tool.It is dated 1881 and is printed on only one side. The paper is slightly less thick than cardstock. This set came to me with a single instruction page included from one of the drafting books to make a sleeve, though this tool can be used with Mr. Rood's tailor system to draft any pattern with curved edges.Condition: overall very good with just some light foxing. Please see the photos for full condition. The included page had a small tear which I have repaired with acid-free archival safe mending tissue. It has no musty odor and only smells like aged paper.
