Description: Robert Remini: Andrew Jackson 3 Volume Set Biography FIRST EDITIONS. This set is in good to great condition. Remini's definitive biography of Jackson is hard to come by in any condition. You'll see that this set is a nice copy, but priced much lower than other listings because of the condition of volume 1. Volume 1 is missing the jacket and has some wear like a couple of frayed spots to the cloth edge, previous owner's name inside, and some wavy pages and moisture spots at the beginning of the volume. It looks like the spine of volume 1 must have taken some moisture at some point. Volume 1 was likely acquired separately for this set. I'm being thorough in my description. I think that volume 1 is still a perfectly fine reading copy. Volumes 2 and 3 are in much nicer condition with general wear from age, the most significant being a pen mark on the outer text block of volume 3 (see photo 4). All three volumes have tight bindings with clean pages. Volumes 2 and 3 may have never been read. Overall, a nice solid set in my estimation given the difficulty of acquiring. Please view the photos carefully. I have taken lots of pictures to accurately show the condition, not all of which is mentioned in this written description.
