No damage, wear, stains or offensive surplus smell. May have some dust marks from storage but nothing that won't wash out or just wipe off. Made of a durable cotton blend material with winter lining. These pants are pretty awesome! They feature two button flap front pockets, hand warmer slots on each hip, two large button flap cargo pockets with attachment loops, two button flap lower leg pockets, two large button flap rear pockets with attachment loops, six button fly, elastic ankles with foot stirrups, belt loops and a fairly heavy winter lining. These can be worn alone just over your thermal long johns or worn over your pants if you go up a few sizes. They would be great for hunting, fishing, skiing and for any cold weather outdoor activities. Please compare the measurements shown in the size tabs to one that fits you well. It costs us both time and money if you have to return it because it doesn't fit. The last photo shows how I measure the waist although that photo shows a different pair. I measure the across the inside of the waistband edge to edge with the edges pulled tight and double that measurement for the waist size. So if it measures 20" across the waistband the waist would be 40", etc. I then subtracted 3" from the waist total to make it comparable to blue jean sizes (if it measured 40" I made it 37"). Inseam was measured from the crotch seam to the bottom of the pant leg. Please use the photos and the zoom feature as part of the description and to determine exactly what you are getting.
