Description: Painted by Italian-American artist Nicky Gioia Mitchell (1932-2020). Peaceful scene of a marshland, bordered by a waterway and a view out to a peninsula and the ocean off in the distance. A few fluffy clous dot the skyline. Looks to be a costal area in southeast US. This painting brings a calm to the space its displayed. Measures 17.25 in. x 23.5 in. (Visible), 20.5 in. x 26 5/8in. (framed). Oil on board panel surrounded in a golden painted wood frame. Painting is in good condition. One minor light scuff in the light coat of blue showing the base oil below. This is located towards the upper edge, right side and measures less than an inch. There are a few other areas where the base oil, yellow-brown, shows through the blue of the sky. It looks like this was part of production, thin layer with brush strokes. Frame has normal light scratches and wear. I have taken sectional photographs from left to right, please review and zoom each section. Ask all questions before buying.
