STAN KENTON'S Greatest Hits LP Play Graded sounds VG(+) RE 1972 from 1943-51

Description: This is STAN KENTON'S Greatest Hits on Capitol Records SM-2327 USA mono reissue compilation. Nor sure of the exact date this was reissued but this Capitol yellow label was used from 1972 to 1976. More information can be found on Discogs. This is Discogs release [r28091284] These songs were recorded between 1943 and 1951. Many well known names as sideman who later became leaders in their on right. Maynard Furguson, Art Pepper, Stan Getz,Shorty Rogers, Shelly Mann. Record grades: a modified Golmine. NM,EX, VG++,VG+, VG, VG-, G+,G, G-, F, P The COVER VG+ Light shelf wear. No splits.No writing. No bends. No tape. Not a cut out. Worst thing is on the front right. There is a wrinkle in the cover slick that occurred at the factory. Not a crease in the jacket. The VINYL VG(+) Play graded both sides. This vinyl, when examined under a bright light has no scratches and appears VG+ with some minor signs of handling.Upon playing I could hear quite a bit of low level crackle. could hear some low level crackle. This record is better than a VG but I can't give it a solid VG+ so I'm going with a lower grade VG+ which I am calling VG(+). Checked the discs for any warping and it was flat. Sounds VG(+) Looks VG+ The LABELS NM When held on an angle under a bright light, I couldnot see any spindle trails or any spindle hole wear. No writing. Flawless. The SLEEVES VG Original generic paper sleeve with some short tears. All records will be mailed in sturdy, recycled record specific mailer boxes with extra padding.
