Description: You are bidding on Two Ginger Beer bottles, one with an embossed seal / stamp on it, that was dug in New Orleans many years ago. These bottles were dug by an old-time digger that is no longer with us. These bottles were dug over 50 years ago. Several of the bottles that he dug have a sticker on the bottom of them with the date and place where it was dug. The taller one with the seal is one of those bottles. It was dug on Third St in New Orleans in 1973. It appears to also have the name of the person that he dug it with. This bottle is in good condition, with no issues. The smaller bottle also is clean and at first glance appears to have no issues. But while taking the pictures, I noticed some hair lines, either in the glaze or possible in the bottle. The larger ginger beer bottle is approx. 8 1/2" tall and 3" at the base. The shorter ginger beer bottle is approx. 7 7/8" tall and 2 7/8" at the base. All of this can be seen in the pictures. The bottles are a great addition to a Collection or for a collector of vintage bottles. It is a must-have for any serious collector. Don't miss out on the opportunity to add these historically significant bottles to your collection. United States shipping only. Buyers will pay USPS Ground Advantage shipping. There are no returns for buyer's remorse. Returns are accepted if not as described.
