Description: Add a touch of vintage charm to your living space with this unique MCM style table lamp SHADE AND BULB NOT INCLUDED. The lamp features a teak wood (or teak style) and an optical style glass body with a purple drip tint. The lamp is corded electric with metal base (5.75” diameter) that has been refelted. Height to top of socket approx 23.5” and to top of finial approx 29.5”. See pictures for exact condition, note some images have a light shining behind it to show the tinting- the lamp is not lit in the base. This lamp base has been refurbished. The lamp base was originally amber tinted on exterior of the glass but the tint was heavily damaged so I removed the exterior coating and applied a PVA with varnish coating colored with strong liquid dye and baked on. I think it looks pretty darn cool. Why didn’t they make these purple in the 60’s? SHIPPING NOTE: if UPS is substantially cheaper I will ship that way instead of USPS and refund the difference unless explicitly directed by buyer to spend the extra money and stick with USPS.
