Description: The Lenk Manufacturing Company is still in business today and still manufactures portable hand held torches that are fueled by butane or propane. Here is a small size plumbers torch 5-1/2"H x 3" in diameter at the base that was probably fueled by alcohol. Once the gas fueled torches were introduced in the 1950's the use of torches lilke this fell by the wayside. This torch was most likely used by a plumber for soldering copper pipe. It has no label but I am fairly certain it is a Leno. It is a simple gadget and most likely still works. It makes a great addition to a vintage tool collection.
