Description: Description - Fine George VI solid silver cigarette/ cigar box of rectangular form with a slightly domed hinged lid and thumb piece lid has engine turned decoration with a cartouche initialed "W.J.L" the front has an inscription dated 1945 leather bound underside cedar wood interior lining, plus an adjustable divider. Fully hallmarked with anchor head for Birmingham assay, lion passant indicating 925 grade solid silver, date letter "V" for the year 1945 and the maker's mark "S & M" which is Sanders & Mackenzie. Condition - In good condition, there a just a couple of tiny dint to the left side, and a small minor knock to the rear bottom edge (please inspect end photographs) lid is strong and closed the lid securely interior wood lining in very good condition.
