Description: Vtg 1930s McKee THE CONCORD White Milk Glass PUNCH BOWL & PEDESTAL BASE SET Bowl size 13" wide x 4.75" high, round base is 3.5"Pedestal Stand Base is 5.5" high. Top opening for bowl to fit into is 4.25" across, scalloped base is just shy of 5.75"When bowl is put into base, the entire punchbowl stands 10" high. Bowl fits very securely into base, which has a raised rim and depressed center to fit perfectly. No rocking or wobbling. This charming punchbowl in white milk glass was traditionally used at wedding receptions to mirror the bride's white gown. What a lovely tradition. It of course also matches any modern table scaping or table setting color scheme, so is quite versatile. Looks fantastic at Holiday time with punch, or it can be presented simply as a large bowl [with or without base] to hold treats, fruits, snacks etc as a centerpiece. OLDER McKee piece which is pre-logo. Very good condition, would list as Excellent but for one VERY small VERY shallow smooth flake off the side of base piece- see last pic. Does not effect where base makes contact with a table surface, so it's quite negligible and hard to even notice. No other flakes, nicks chips cracks scratches. Very heavy and thick glass, beautiful.
