Description: This is an original departure letter from May 1941, distributed to the officers of the 95th Infantry Wehrmacht Division from General von Armin. He sent this letter when he moved to command the 113th Infantry Division. Hans-Heinrich Sixt von Armin (6 November 1890 – 1 April 1952) was a German general during World War II who commanded several divisions. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. Armin surrendered following the Battle of Stalingrad in 1943 and died in Soviet captivity on 1 April 1952. Good condition; shows some yellowing; was stored folded and has a few small rips. I blurred out a few sentences to preserve the letter's contents for the future owner. FREE SHIPPING TO US AND CANADA. This letter will ship carefully packaged with tracking.
